University Library Temporary Employees Personnel Files 1987-1990

This series is comprised of the personnel files of University Library temporary employees spanning the period of 1987-1990. Temporary employees include, among other hourly employees, all work-study and non work-study student assistants. The files are arranged in two separate alphabets. The first alphabet A-Z, covers the years 1987-1989; the second alphabet A-Z, September 1988-June 1990. Each file generally includes an employment application, wage information, employee evaluations and, in the case of work-study employees, various forms pertaining to work-study.

Karl Fredric Putnam was born March 28, 1879, to a prominent family in Mt. Carmel, Illinois–banker and attorney Samuel R. Putnam and Agatha Weinbach Putnam.
